We have submitted a temporary planning application to Southwark Council to introduce an urban farm and research hub to the space outside our new office (BC-H), which was previously used as a car park. Working with sustainable food organisations – GreenLab and Crate2Plate – the proposals include four containers made from recycled material, a covered outdoor workshop area, planters, compost farm and herb garden. The operators will also run an educational programme to teach local young people about food production and urban farming.
